真的嗎?

Flickr just not safe for kids...
Nothing personal..but I've decided to quit all children related groups and delete all my kids' photos and thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I do intend to continue to participiate in Flickr for it's intended purposes. However, it just is not a safe place to put your kids' photos up at.
Just 5 minutes ago, I found that someone had favorited one of my kid's photo, 4 year old girl and 6 year old boy. I thought it was peculiar since it was just a regular photo not very outstanding.
When I viewed this guy's profile, he was a middle aged male who belonged to groups such as "wild naked college boys" and the likes...
It horrified me and I banned the guy and took down all my kids' photos. I can't imagine some pedophile using my kids' pictures to get himself excited.
There are some very sick individuals on this web site. I'd advice all of you to take down your kids' photos. It's your decision. But I feel that what a responsible parent's choice would be is pretty obvious.
I like the idea of sharing family pictures. But this just isn't a safe medium. Those parents who are participating with their own kids' photos may be pedophiles as well. I just don't think there's a fool proof way to keep the photos safe.
Anyway, I hope you make the right choice and think of your kids' safety first. |
