外國大兔婚禮攝影師對於1Ds3的失望
http://forums.dpreview.com/forum ... amp;thread=24518388
I have been a long time 1DsII owner and like many users on this forum I like to have the best equipment.
I am disappointed in the 1Ds III, I will give Canon credit for all of the improvements over the 1DsII. They listened to users about the menus, the battery, the better highlights ect..
But you have got to be kidding me about the low res screen and the 12 image RAW buffer. What on earth were they thinking?
You walk around Miami and watch the Photo shoots, they set up the model and take 11 shots with their 1DsII and then stop the action while the camera writes the files. I am taking shots at a wedding last weekend and every time I set up a group of people I can take 11 shots and do you think they are going to wait around for my camera to write the files, no they want to get another drink.
I know the low res preview screen and the small buffer is not a big issue for some users, and often for landscape for example it is not an issue for me. But what was their reason for not adding more buffer space and a better screen? It was simple, they think we are a bunch of chumps and we will pay $8,000 for whatever camera they can produce more economically. I do not mind paying top dollar for the best camera that can be made. But if they are taking such obvious short cuts on the buffer space and cheap LCD, what makes us think they tried hard on the other details. It makes one think that the focusing problems were because they tried to get away with the cheapest parts for focusing.
Sure, charge your customers $8,000 for your best camera, we know you have a very high profit margin, and we don’t mind if you are building your best, but at least take the hit of a few dollars and give the user a more reasonable buffer size and the same LCD that Nikon is putting in their lower cost camera.
後來另一個1D3的用家也跳出來抱怨了
他說這種解析度不足的3吋LCD
放大檢視照片對焦準確與否時...真的很難辨識
通常LCD看起來都是糊的...回去用電腦看..確是銳利的
I own a mIII, and I can testify that this statement is *not* true. The LCD on the MIII cannot tell you when critical focus is achieved, except on very close shots. Definitely not on typical wide angles at average distances. There have been cheaper cameras by Canon and others that will allow you to verify focus to much smaller details than the 1 series will. This has been a major irriatation with the 1 series, and I was floored when Canon shipped yet *another* camera with a soft LCD.... the only up side in this is that the camera focuses better than anything else on the market, so when you get to a computer, you see that many shots you thought were soft are in fact sharp. |
