Officially, you can take photo in Louvre, but no flash...  You know flash can hurt all the paintings.  But some people still use the flash sometimes.  But absolutely no flash in Nortre Dame and Chateau de Versailles...  So, make sure you have the IS lens, otherwise, you will be hopeless for many situations.  Also, buy this bag if you don\'t have one...

This will help you a lot.  It is so convenient.  I can take camera out and get ready to shoot within 5 seconds everytime.  Let me know if you any information.  I have been Europe twice and have been many countries there.  I hope I can help you on any information you need.

Thanks for the info.  [s:47]  We are planning to go to Europe for a month period.  UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany are on our list.  Planning to travel using Euro rail or train.  The only thing I am concern is do they speak English there (except UK)?  [s:44]

People in UK, Germany speak English without any problem.  You just feel like you are back to USA.  Spain and Italy are OK.  But French are arrogant! [s:61] [s:61] [s:61] When you begin to open your English like mouth, they will tell you \"I don\'t speak English\"....  [s:61] [s:61] [s:61]   Of course, not all the people are like that but lots.....  [s:39] [s:39]  But when you get to Switzerland, it is a lot better.  People are better educated there.  People in south Switzerland speak French, and north Swizerland speak German.....  [s:57] [s:57]
