Last time I bought the hood for my 17-85 I thought is reasonable (and I bought 20 of them[s:13] ). Just dont know why this time for the 17-55 hood I think is expensive.
Don\'t like 21 million pixels idea on 24x36mm photo detector chip... All the \"L\" lens won\'t perform well for that super high density pixels... It will make the light equation much much more complicate... Also 1Ds3 is super expansive... [s:21] [s:21] [s:21]

40D is my primary and G9 is my backup...maybe I will buy a 5D MK II if it is good, and then still use G9 or G10 as backup. 1D is way too big for me[s:58]
G9 is an excellent travel camera.... Put your 580EX on it... It is a beast.... I still have my G2 at home to take photos sometimes.....
But, right now, I use my wife\'s Nikon d40+18-200+sb400 more than any the other camera because it is so light and easy to carry around to shoot my son..... :尷尬: :尷尬:
But, when I go out to shoot something I enjoy, I always bring my Medium Format and Canon.... But they are just too heavy to carry around.... [s:30] [s:30] [s:30]

I had my 580EX on G9, it seems like it will break since the size of 580EX is already bigger than G9.
I also use my brother\'s Nikon D40, but he can only afford 18-55 + 55-200 VR, 18-200 is way too expensive to him.

It is good for both of the couples to be photographer. At least one will understand the other better.
Actually, you may sell on Amazon, the price might be higher. I never use Craigslist as it is for selling locally (I am afraid buyer comes to my door[s:28] )
